Preparing a hot meal

begins with opening the sealed protective bag

Remove the self-heating can and cutlery from the bag.
Turn the can upside down.
Press in the bottom.
Turn the can back after about 15 seconds.
Shake gently every 2-3 minutes.
The outside of the can body can get hot.

The time required to prepare the meal varies depending on the contents of the can. You can open the can after about 7-8 minutes and stir the food with the included cutlery. Stirring speeds up the absorption of heat.

Are harmful substances involved in the warming?

The materials used properly for heating are harmless.

How does the application work?

You can't really go wrong. Turn the can upside down, press the bottom in with both thumbs, wait 15 seconds, then put the can upright again. After about 8 minutes you can open the can and stir the food with the cutlery provided. Stirring speeds up the heat absorption and heats the food more evenly.

Is the Canboy technology for self-heating meals dangerous in any way?

The outside of the container can get hot. The food inside the container is only heated indirectly. Contamination of the food cannot occur.

Who are the products suitable for?

Our products are suitable for the Bundeswehr, THW, fire brigade, police, rescue services, DLRG, mountain rescue, municipalities, etc.

Is the self-heating can safe to use?

Yes, the Canboy can is completely safe to use. As with “normal” cooking, children should be supervised. It is a completely natural heating reaction – non-toxic and non-flammable.

How long do Canboy self-heating meals last?

The products have a long shelf life if the protective bag is unopened. The best-before date is printed on each product.

How long does a Canboy can stay hot after activation?

This depends on the ambient temperature. Under normal ambient conditions, the meal will stay warm for up to 45 minutes.

Are there situations in which the Canboy can may not work?

If the can is exposed to sub-zero temperatures, the liquid used to initiate the heating may freeze. Of course, heating a really cold can will take longer.

How much food is in a Canboy can?

Each can contains 390 ml of content.

Can Canboy self-heating meals be "reactivated"?

Unfortunately not, the can can only be heated once.
